Changing mail server assignments in
Microsoft Internet Mail

Note: this document applies to the original Microsoft Internet Mail program that was bundled with Internet Explorer 3.x and installed with Windows 95 OEM Service Release 2.
This is not the same as Outlook Express or Microsoft Exchange.

 

  1. Click Start, point to Programs, and then click Internet Mail (item may be inside folder labeled Internet Explorer).
  2. From the main menu, click Mail and then Options.
  3. Click the Server tab.
  4. Under Servers, in the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) box, type smtp.cport.com.
  5. Under Servers, in the Incoming Mail (POP3) box, type pop3.cport.com.
  6. Click OK.
